The service

AI ChatShot is a free online tool that generates fictional chat conversations and chat-style screenshots in the visual styles of WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage, for creative, educational and entertainment purposes such as stories, memes, mockups and content previews. Everything the tool produces is fictional.

ChatShot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta/WhatsApp, Telegram, or Apple. WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage are trademarks of their respective owners; the interface styles are reproduced for creative purposes only.

Acceptable use

You may use ChatShot only for lawful purposes. In particular, you must not use generated screenshots — or the service itself — to deceive anyone. Prohibited uses include: fraud or scams of any kind; impersonating a real person or organisation; fabricating evidence, records, receipts or conversations and presenting them as genuine; extortion, threats or harassment; defamation; and misleading the public, customers, employers, platforms or authorities.

If a use depends on someone believing a generated screenshot is a real conversation, that use is prohibited.

Your content and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the scenario descriptions you enter, the content you create with the tool, and how you use, publish or share any exported image. You must have the rights to any content you input, and you must not input other people's private personal information.

You are responsible for making sure your use of generated content complies with the laws and platform rules that apply to you.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, code and original content belong to AI ChatShot or its licensors. Subject to these terms, you may use the screenshots you generate for lawful purposes. Trademarks, logos and interface elements of third-party platforms remain the property of their respective owners and are not licensed to you by us.

Availability and AI output

The service is provided free of charge and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or unexpected; when the AI service is unavailable, sample demo content may be shown instead. You are responsible for reviewing anything you create before using it.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI ChatShot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from how generated content is used or shared. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed USD 100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI ChatShot from claims, damages and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date, and continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions still apply. These terms are the entire agreement between you and AI ChatShot regarding the service.
